The Lexus LS 460, the Toyota Motor Co.’s flagship, was completely re-built for the 2013 model year to include fresh exterior styling, a more powerful V8 engine, and a sophisticated interior filled with luxury features and technology. Advanced safety features include a system engineered to detect an imminent frontal collision, tighten up the front seatbelt and provide additional braking pressure as the brake pedal is depressed. The system will also detect pedestrians and other three-dimensional objects in the vehicle’s path, even at night, and can bring the vehicle to a complete stop if the car is moving at less than 24 miles per hour. The price is expected to start at $70,000.
