The 2013 Nissan Altima has a new exterior design to go along with its new engine, transmission, suspension, and steering. The Altima also comes with innovative lightweight front seats influenced by NASA experiments and a navigation system updated regularly via the cloud. The power train is built around a 2.5-liter inline 4-cylnder engine and continuously variable transmission that produces 38 miles per gallon for the best fuel economy in the mid-sized segment. It also has a rear-view camera that detects four views of the space at the back of the car when it’s in reverse. Safety features such as blind spot and lane departure warnings and moving object detection when the vehicle is in reverse are also available. Prices start at $21,500.
