Car buffs have traditionally considered the BMW Three series the epitome of the sports sedan. The new 2013 version of the Three Series is winning plaudits for its combination of exterior styling, handling, and power. BMW also made more room for passengers and luggage inside the car. Also available (as an option) is a new iteration of something called head-up-display, which relays place information from the instrument cluster right on the windshield so the driver’s eyes need never leave the road. The 2013 BMW Three Series also makes mobile phone technology available in the cockpit via Bluetooth connections. Active safety features include lane-keeping alerts. Prices start at $35,500.
