A thrift store chain that benefits more than 100 non-profits around North America, Savers has proven to be a hit with shoppers keen on snagging bargains—$3 Polos, $5 jeans with the tags still on—while sifting through the secondhand treasures. The chain opened 19 new locations in 2010 (bringing the then-total to 250), and will have opened at least another 19 stores by the end of 2011.
