Silicon Valley “super angel” Ron Conway has been called the “Godfather of Silicon Valley,” for his wide ranging influence. Since the 1990s, Conway, who now serves as a special advisor to SV Angel, has invested in more than 600 technology startups. “I call him the human router,” Netscape co-founder Marc Andreessen told Fortune last year. Conway’s high profile investments include Google, Facebook, PayPal, Twitter, Square, Dropbox, and Airbnb.

Conway is also an active philanthropist, and member of the UCSF Medical Center Chancellor’s Advisory Board. An outspoken advocate for gun control and immigration reform, Conway is a supporter of Mark Zuckerberg’s lobbying group FWD.us.
