So much for the friendly skies. After a skirmish with a passenger that led to a whack in the head with a piece of baggage, JetBlue flight attendant Steven Slater took to the plane’s PA system to curse out the traveler, then grabbed a cold one, opened the plane’s emergency exit door and slid down the chute into the annals of over-the-top “I quit” moments. It’s safe to say Slater probably torched his twenty-year career in aviation, but the stunt gave him 15 minutes of fame — along with a year of probation.
