Curious Capitalist TV

I’m usually reticent to publicize my television appearances, but since it was actually pretty entertaining (to participate in, at least) and I doubt many of you will just happen to be watching CSPAN2 tonight at 7 p.m. Eastern, here goes: Close up at the Newseum, with host Frank Bond, Michelle Singletary of the Washington Post, me, and the students of the Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Fairfax County, Virginia. We talk about recession and bailouts and stuff. And Michelle threatens to hug a high schooler with strong opinions about the TARP. (She actually did hug him after the show.)

Also, CNN will be airing Madoff: Secrets of a Scandal this Saturday and Sunday night at 8, and I’ll probably be in it. Reporter Abbie Boudreau interviewed me about what it was like to ask Bernie a bunch of softball questions and nod sagely while he answered them at a panel discussion on the stock market in 2007. I hope they don’t make me look like too much of a gullible, financiopath-enabling idiot. If they do I guess I can always throttle co-host (and Fortune editor) Andy Serwer next time we ride home on the subway together.
