They can take our lives — and they can also take Braveheart off our instant queues.

Netflix, the subscription video streaming service, is about to remove some classics from its streaming library on New Year’s Day, CNN reports. The gems that will be unavailable as of Wednesday include Braveheart (of “they can take our lives, but they’ll never take our freedom” fame), Titanic, Being John Malkovich and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. Altogether, more than 80 titles, including some episodes of Saturday Night Live, won’t be beamed into homes anymore.

The list originally emerged on Reddit and was confirmed by CNN. A Netflix spokesman said the changes amount to nothing more than routine additions and deletions because of expiring and changing licensing contracts.

In another 2014 change, Netflix is testing a cheaper streaming subscription — $6.99 per month instead of $7.99 per month — that comes with only standard-definition video, instead of high-def, Variety reports.
