Instagram’s new ads are rolling directly into your insta-feed this week, the company announced on its blog Thursday.
The ads will look just like a normal Instagram post, except that they’ll say “sponsored” at the top. Users will be able to block ads they don’t want to see anymore and give Instagram feedback about why, just by tapping the “…” button at the bottom of the post.
The announcement said that, as always, Instagram users own their photos and videos, and the introduction of advertising won’t change anything about that policy.
