BMW’s green super car has been a long-time coming. A refresher: the four-seat i8 has a three-cylinder, 1.5-liter engine that makes 231 horsepower as well as a 96-kilowatt electric motor generating 131 horses, for a total output 362 horses. Zero to 62 miles per hour? Four seconds. At the show, BMW unveiled one of the last details about the vehicle, the price. The plug-in hybrid will carry a window sticker of $135,700 when it arrives in U.S. showrooms in the spring of 2014.
