People who drop upwards of $100,000 on a Porsche 911 Carrera expect head-turning looks and performance. They certainly don’t expect the tailpipe to fall off. But that’s what could happen to owners of some 2012 and 2013 Carrera and Carrera 4 coupes and convertibles. Porsche recalled the affected vehicles a few weeks ago, just as luxury magazine the Robb Report named the 911 Carrera S its 2013 Car of the Year.
