A major attraction is the antique eight-stall horse barn that was moved from Pennsylvania and rebuilt on the farm along with an outdoor horse dressage arena and six grass paddocks. The barn also has an attached living area with two bedrooms, a kitchen and a living room.
The guest home at Blue Heron is a Cape Cod-style house with 3,718 square feet and five bedrooms. There is a detached three-car garage with more available housing in a two-bedroom apartment above the garage and another building with a fitness center.
Blue Heron Farm went up for sale in September at $23,700,000. It just sold for $21,900,000 to Lord Norman Foster and Lady Elena Foster of Great Britain. Lord Foster is an architect who designed the new Wembley Stadium and Lady Foster is in the arts publication business.
