The owner of this home in Coto De Caza, Orange County, Calif., is a third-generation car collector who bought his first car at age 14. He has several restored cars in his collection that were featured at the recent Barrett Jackson car show in Las Vegas, including a 1934 Ford Roadster, 1949 Ford Shoebox, 1940 Woody and a 1961 Cadillac. All were restored by the legendary Boyd Coddington. His oldest car is a 1929 Packard Opera Coupe that was custom designed with a chauffeur’s solo-seat in front to take its passengers to the opera.
While the car showroom is in a separate 8,000 square-foot building, the main residence is 9,500 square feet on more than two acres at the base of the Saddleback Mountains in a gated and walled compound near Laguna Beach and Newport Beach.
