The world of professional sports is not immune to the recession—not even when it comes to playoff baseball.

Bringing your family to an NFL football game may easily cost over $750. The national pastime is a comparative steal, even for the playoffs.

Ticket seller StubHub.com, by way of the WSJ, says that compared to the last playoff season, average ticket price sales are down in most markets. In the Los Angeles area, Angels tickets are averaging $94, down 9% compared to $103 a year ago, while Dodger seats are going for $74, or 50% less than they were a year ago.
