Ford CEO Alan Mulally has shot down rumors of him becoming Microsoft’s next head.

“I have no other plans to do anything other than serve Ford,” Mulally told the Associated Press on Tuesday, adding that he would stick with the company at least until the end of 2014.

Numerous recent reports of Mulally’s imminent departure have been a distraction for Ford, whose shares have more than doubled since he joined the company in 2006.
