The satirical news source The Onion is ending print publication in its last three remaining markets, the Crain’s Chicago Business reports.

The Dec. 12 print issue will be the 25-year-old business’s last in Chicago, Milwaukee and Providence, R.I. before going all digital.

The company has been winding down its print presence over several years as it shifts to the web, where it continues to grow. The Onion’s unique page views in September were up 6 percent from a year earlier to 4 million, according to Comscore, Crain’s reports.

Chicago-based Onion Inc. doesn’t disclose revenue figures, but a spokesperson told Crain’s that the company has seen rising profits for the past four years.
