The credit-card payment startup Square is in discussions with banks, including Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley, about a 2014 IPO.

Founded by Jack Dorsey, who also co-founded Twitter, Square is growing nearly as fast as its micro-blogging older sibling, with sales nearing $1 billion in 2014, the Wall Street Journal reports. Sales this year will be about $550 million, with net revenue between $110 million and $165 million.

Square does not currently turn a profit, but Dorsey — who could make $586 million in Twitter’s IPO on Thursday — said he has a plan to make Square profitable by 2015.
