Teen sensation Justin Bieber

Looks like Ashton Kutcher isn’t the only celebrity A-lister to catch the high-tech investing bug. Now Justin Bieber has some skin in the game too, and not just onscreen like fellow singer Justin Timberlake, who played early Facebook investor Sean Parker in the 2010 film The Social Network.

The Biebs has invested $1.1 million in Shots Of Me, a new social networking site from the developers of the social mobile game RockLive, Fortune exclusively reports. The new site will be aimed at teens, so it’s only fitting that the world’s most famous teen is putting up the seed money.

The pop star connected with the web developers after he started playing their RockLive game and tweeting about it to his millions of followers.

Shots Of Me  will be aimed primarily at teens, and the founders say they hope it will address needs that aren’t being met in other networks, like cyber-bullying.
