The prospect of getting free candy from strangers isn’t the only reason to participate in Halloween this year. National retailers are promising free (or nearly free) donuts, Legos, pancakes, burritos, corn dogs, and more on October 31.
Among the freebies and scary-good discounts you might want to take advantage of this Halloween:
Bass Pro Shops: Locations offer trick-or-treating, free kids Halloween crafts, free in-store photos, and other giveaways through Halloween night.
Boston Market: By using the coupon in this link, customers get one free kids meal with the purchase of a regular meal.
Chipotle: From 4 p.m. until closing time on Halloween, a burrito, bowl, salad, or taco meal goes for just $3 to anyone dining at Chipotle in costume.
Old Country Buffet: Kids ages 11 and under eat free on Halloween when in costume.
IHOP: Kids ages 12 and under get one free “Scary Face Pancake” (featuring Oreos, candy corn, and whip cream) from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Halloween.
Jamba Juice: Free kids smoothies are being handed out on October 31 from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. at participating locations.
Krispy Kreme: Wearing a costume on Halloween in a participating Krispy Kreme location entitles you to a free donut.
Lego Store: Anyone who goes trick-or-treating in costume at a Lego Store on Halloween gets a free Lego Halloween-theme keychain, in addition to candy they’re handing out.
LongHorn, Olive Garden, Red Lobster: Follow the link for a coupon good for one free kids meal at these restaurants (all owned by the Darden group), with the purchase of any adult entrée. Freebies at LongHorn Steakhouse and Olive Garden are valid through October 31, while Red Lobster’s promotion is good Monday to Thursday through November 7.
Panda Express: Children 11 and under who are in costume on Halloween eat for free.
Sonic Drive-in: Corn dogs sell for 50¢ apiece all day on Halloween.
