Twitter plans to list its upcoming IPO on the New York Stock Exchange, according to an amended SEC filing released Tuesday, settling a showdown between the NYSE and the Nasdaq exchange.

Twitter initially released its IPO filing to the public Oct. 3, but it did not say where it would be listed. While Nasdaq has traditionally drawn tech firms, a glitch during the Facebook IPO on the Nasdaq last year was among factors that had speculators leaning toward the NYSE.

The company will trade under the ticker “TWTR.”
