The United States is rising up through the ranks of the top oil producing countries past Russia. A new study shows that the United States is the top oil producer in the world; but this study doesn’t include OPEC countries like Saudia Arabia. I personally consider it to be good. Exploration of the oil pits had been going on for decades, or may be centuries now in the US. However, most of them are not used for future use. Oil is not a renewable resource. It will dry down in the future. US has not used its own oil for long and preserved it, which is in fact a good thing, keeping the future in mind. But with rising international complexities and weakening US economy, looking inward is need of the time. US should try to meet its rising demand for oil from its own lands itself. So, I'm not at all surprised to see production of oil increasing in the US.

What!!!??? It cannot be!! We have been told by the GOP that this president does not want the US to produce any oil, with all those cumbersome regulations!!! So would that mean that conservatives were (GASP!) lying all along??????
