After some gentle ribbing by his kid sister, the high schooler gradually builds enough courage while driving his dad’s Audi to the dance that he locks lips with the prom king’s date. Ok — he also gets punched in the face, but the S6 allows him a quick getaway, albeit with a swollen eye. The automaker let online viewers select the ending to this spot from three possible choices and has been employing the #braverywins hashtag during the campaign. Clearly, they’re not trying to sell the pricey S6 to high school prom-goers — maybe more so their brave dads who let them borrow their car — or even those who pay enough attention to Twitter hashtags. Whether the ad works for the demographic Audi is targeting isn’t clear. Nevertheless, the ad is worth watching.
