Money Talking: Moms-in-Chief Take Center Stage

Women played a traditional role at the national political conventions of the past two weeks, especially in the speeches given by Ann Romney and Michelle Obama. The first lady and the Republican candidate’s wife both used the lens of the family to argue that their husbands should be president. This week on WNYC’s Money Talking, TIME’s Curious Capitalist columnist Rana Foroohar and veteran business journalist Joanne Lipman look at where women stand in the workplace in 2012 as moms-in-chief take center stage at the conventions.
