In June of 2009, during the heart of the recession, The Cheapskate Blog was born. Two years, one name change (from Cheapskate to It’s Your Money), and 2,000-odd posts later, it’s time to start learning to share my blog space.

Starting on Tuesday, June 1, It’s Your Money will be no more. It’ll be somebody else’s money. Just kidding. Well, sorta.

Seriously, things are changing here at Time.com, in a good, exciting way. I’m going to keep on covering personal finance, consumer issues, and all things saving money for the site, and I’ll be joined by a bunch of outstanding contributors writing about investing, real estate, retirement, banking, economics, and more.

Starting on June 1, anyone heading to It’s Your Money will be directed to our new vertical, which will be called (drum roll please … ) Moneyist. WHOOPS! Make that Moneyland.
