An Internet cartoon starring Warren Buffett is expected to be released sometime later this year. It’ll be called “Secret Millionaires Club,” starring America’s most lovable 2-D billionaire, along with four cartoon kids who cover the range of ethnic makeup and skin color in Benetton-ad fashion.
In different “adventures,” Buffett teaches the kids lessons like how to avoid debt while shooting flaming lasers out of his eyes (OK, I made that last part up). But the kids do get to invest in a local candy company while battling with an evil developer named Mr. Shady. (Why couldn’t have Bernie Madoff had a name like that? It would have saved everyone so much trouble.)
And in this behind-the-scenes look at the show, there are some amusing renderings of Warren Buffett as a hippie, with giant curly afro and tie-dye and all.
