I’m back from Switzerland and I’m coughing and have a fever. Isn’t air travel great?
Anyway, I wrote this list of Nine Things I Learned at Davos at a friend’s apartment in Zurich Sunday night and at the Zurich Airport Monday morning. It would have been 10 things but I ran out of time. At least one is recycled from the blog. And the list leaves out the most important thing I learned in Davos, which was Don’t post a video of yourself skiing in Switzerland during a global economic meltdown.
(For those who missed it, my ski video blog post made Gawker last week. It was not praised there. And while I feel compelled to note that my ski day was on my own time and paid for with my own money, and that the video commentary was meant to be ironic, I guess it was sort of dense to post it. Although the ski tips from Bryan from Houston in the comments made it almost all worth it.)
