I saw this Austin Minor near the campus of the Copenhagen Business School. And I thought it was a beautiful thing. So was this Volvo driving through the City Hall Square:

I’m flying back to the U.S. today (Friday). So this will probably be the last of my Copenhagen dispatches.

Apple CEO Cook Gives Up $75M in Stock Dividends

NEW YORK — Apple CEO Tim Cook is giving up $75 million in dividends on restricted stock that the company is awarding to all of its employees.

In a filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission on Thursday, Apple Inc. said that Cook requested that his restricted stock units not receive dividends. The dividends that Apple workers are getting amount to $2.65 per quarter for each restricted stock unit held. The shares are not normally eligible to receive dividends, so Apple’s decision is a perk for its employees.

I like your choice of words. The Minor really is a beautiful thing.

Is it not a Morris Minor? I learned to drive in one in the UK in 1958.

Of course the most beautiful Austin is the Austin Healey (before they messed it up with external door handles and a fixed windshield)

All I know is that it said “Austin Minor” on the back. But yeah, it appears to be identical to the better known Morris Minor. Austin and Morris merged in 1952, so I guess they slapped the name Austin on a few of the Minors.
