Nearly information-free post about Google

I had lunch today at Google’s big New York beachhead down on the southern fringe of Chelsea. I’d tell you all about it, but I had to sign a non-disclosure agreement to get in. I didn’t read the thing all that closely–it was on a computer screen at the reception desk, and I was hungry. But I assume it means that I can’t write about anything except what I witnessed before I signed the agreement.

So here goes: Google has an office in a hulking old building on lower Ninth Avenue. It looks pretty nice and airy. Young people work there. And, well, hell–NDA be damned: They’ve got Legos for the taking there! Lots and lots of Legos!
